These chisels have a striking ferrule and are designed to be used with a wooden mallet.
The blade is made of high quality Chromium-vanadium (CV) steel with a hardness of HRC 61 (+/-1), ensuring outstanding cutting durability. The cutting edge angle is 27°.
The length of each chisels differs according to its width. The blades have only been sharpened, not polished, to avoid rounding the edges of the face, which should be as flat as possible for fine work.
The handle is made of clear-finished hornbeam. It has been slightly flattened so that even the narrower chisels will not roll away or off a bench.
