MHG Cutting Spade: 50mm with Ash Handle

The MHG gouge works like a gouge axe, but is slightly shorter and the sides of the iron taper towards the back.

The gouges are manufactured using the latest forging and hardening technology and a chrome vanadium tool steel that is well suited for this use.

MHG guarantees a Rockwell hardness of 61 HRC within narrow tolerances over the entire useful length of the chisel.

Handle: lightly oiled ash, 300 mm, approx. 40 mm thick, tapered in the front area.

Blade: finely ground, straight edge with bevel on top, flat back side
