Suehiro Japanese Whetstone - NewCerax #6000 Grit (CR-6000-W Large)
The #6000 grit Cerax water stone provides a mirror finish and leaves a blade very sharp. It is suitable as a final or intermittent honing step in the sharpening process.
The Cerax waterstone by Suehiro Niigata Japan is renowned for its fast cutting surface and its longevity. These stones are made from slow-wearing ceramic particles which act as the perfect abrasive for high carbon steel and tool steel alloy such as Vanadium and Chromium.
This stone has a large surface area and is perfect for removing burr, honing and polishing.
The #6000 grit Cerax is packaged with a small Nagura stone, which is used for unclogging the stone if abraded material becomes embedded during sharpening.
The housing is complete with rubber feet for safety, stability and ease when sharpening.
